Bamboo is eco-friendly
The environmentally conscious individual chooses certified organic bamboo linens because bamboo grows quickly and requires less water than cotton, with little to no pesticides or herbicides, making it a sustainable, renewable and overall eco-friendly fiber.
But not all bamboo is processed the same! We make sure our organic bamboo linens are produced with minimal impact to the environment and we don’t use synthetic dyes.
It feels so good!
But the best part is how soft it feels to the touch! Your skin will love it more than other eco options, such as linen and hemp and it’s particularly popular for those with sensitive skin, weak immune systems, babies, and the elderly. That is because organic bamboo is a smooth, natural fiber making it silky and luxurious to the touch, absorbent and breathable. Bamboo actually absorbs 400% more water than organic cotton, making it perfect for bed linens! You will wake feeling fresh and comfy –even in warm weather.
Bamboo is easy to care for
Organic bamboo has natural antibacterial properties that keep it smelling fresh longer. Bamboo is a robust fiber that stands up to multiple washings, and like linen, gets softer with every washing.
Like cotton linens, we recommend washing your organic bamboo linens regularly and when needed. Wash your linens in cool water with a cold water appropriate, phosphate-free soap. Hot water is also fine, but not for the eco-conscious, and as is the case with all fabrics, hot water will wear your bamboo faster. Once you are through your washing cycle, line drying is recommended. If you must machine dry, take your sheets out immediately and fold.
